Our relationship begins with the very first phone call or email.  We have a lovely staff that will try to gain clarity on your concerns and address any questions you may have so you are confident at your first visit. 

At your first appointment, we will spend time understanding your oral history through conversation, oral check, photographs, x-rays, and a digital scan of the bite if needed. Dr. Hillis will perform a TMJ screening, oral cancer exam, a bite analysis, and review your mouth including the teeth, gums, and bone. 

Giving Dr. Hillis time to review your oral health and prepare a plan, you will come back for your hygiene appointment and consultation.  The hygiene appointment is customized to your level of oral health.  The hygienists review hygiene protocols at home and make product recommendations. This is followed by a consultation that allows you to review the photographs and treatment recommendations within our private consultation room.
